Grey Healthcare approached WebDepend to test a new website they were building for Astra Zeneca called Everyday Breathing, specifically relating to products for the treatment of Asthma and COPD.
The testing primarily consisted of a CMS website, making sure that all pages and content displayed correctly as well as a site search and patient tools section, which provided resources for sufferers of Asthma or COPD including a medication tracker, BMI calculator and treatment action plan.
The challenge was to complete all this testing within tight timescales as well as covering a large range of desktop browsers and mobile devices. Overall, we tested the site in 19 different OS/browser combinations including 4 different iOS and Android devices.
During a week long testing period, we conducted thorough and rigorous testing of the entire Everyday Breathing CMS site as well as covering all the browser and mobile device combinations.
In the course of the testing, we raised 65 bugs of which 17 were of Major severity, 38 were Minor and 10 were trivial. We also provided a report to Grey Healthcare detailing the testing that was carried out, the browser and mobile devices covered and a high level view of the issues found.
The testing was completed successfully for Grey Healthcare who were very happy with the results and the issues found. These bugs were fixed in readiness for handing the Everyday Breathing website over to Astra Zeneca for their review and launch.
