An increasing number of websites have responsive layouts, which adapt based on the screen size of the device being used to view the site.
We test responsive websites on a range of devices from smartphones, different sized tablets up to large desktop monitors to make sure the layouts work correctly across all major screen sizes, in both portrait and landscape orientation.
Additionally, we test any elements designed (or not designed) for touchscreen devices including sliders, carousels, tap vs hover and anything that may cause a problem for a touchscreen user.
Practically all the projects we have tested in the last 10 years or so have incorporated responsive web design, including the main UK site for David Lloyd Leisure and a mobile phone manufacturer. These projects include testing across a range of devices from smartphones and tablets, in both portrait and landscape orientation, up to large resolution desktop monitors.
