Testing Manager

Our In-House Management System

Testing Manager is our in-house management system that underpins many aspects of our day to day testing.

It is our work scheduling system, our bug tracker and tracks our customer projects and testing tasks.

Testing Manager also includes a device management system, a website audit tool and is being expanded to add a test management capability too.

Testing On Demand

On Demand and Retained Testing customers are able to view the schedule in Testing Manager to see details of their upcoming testing work requests.

When there is a new project or feature to test, our customers can easily submit a new work request to book the testing into our schedule.

New projects or testing requests can also be scheduled using all the usual contact methods that customers can use including phone, email and Slack.

Bug Tracking

As standard, all the bugs our testers find are raised in Testing Manager. Our bug tracker has all the aspects you would expect from a bug tracker including detailed descriptions to reproduce the issue, severity, category and screenshot or screen recording attachments.

Any customer users are given access to be able to view details of the bugs and can export them to a CSV file if they need it.

Bug Syncing

For customers that wish to receive bugs into their existing project management or bug tracking systems, we are able to implement customised connectors to sync those bugs directly to external platforms, whether that is Jira, Asana, Trello, etc.

In total, we currently support 6 different project management tools that we can connect Testing Manager to so that bugs are received into customer systems as soon as they are raised. More integrations are on the way.

Site Audit Tool

Currently in beta, our new site audit tool enables our users to run an accessibility audit of a website and view details of accessibility issues.

Test Management Coming Soon

A big new feature currently in progress is our Test Management feature. This will enable users (whether those users are WebDepend testers or our customer users) to create and manage test cases, carry out test runs and view testing results.

Free Access to Customers

Customers receive free access to Testing Manager, which is continually developed and improved to provide efficiencies for our testing and also an enhanced and superior experience to our customers.
