Introduction

Effective testing, or the lack of it, can put a toll on everyone. Reasons include everything taking longer due to a confusing or inappropriate process, work frequently coming back to be redone because requirements weren't met and too many bugs not being caught prior to release.
Why this causes problems for your business:
For agencies this results in unhappy customers and then long hours for developers to fix the issues.
Projects often run late and go over budget, resulting in delays starting the next project or projects running into each other.
For startups unhappy users can quickly churn or hammer your customer support team with issues.
This impacts on your ability to deliver new features and keep the roadmap on track.
For both agencies and startups teams are inefficient due to dealing with issues and complaints, which reduces morale. Only a matter of time before team members start looking for the exit.
For businesses with a tester, are they getting sufficient support or are they struggling to keep up with what they are being asked to do.

Where we can help

Process

Looking at how the Testing portion of a typical project or release is managed, from project or product management, through development and testing.

Release management

Following on from Process, Release Management looks at how releases are prepared, tested, documented, communicated and deployed plus rollbacks and handling issues.

Problem solving

Have a specific Testing or quality-related problem that you need help with? We've spent time testing in a wide variety of teams and have experience to tackle many problems that could be affecting your ability to deliver.

Management and mentorship

Assessing how a group of testers are managed, developing skills, organising schedules or projects that they're working on, identifying or producing a team charter and agreed approach to testing. Providing mentorship and coaching to individual testers.
Test Consulting

Previous experience

We've worked with dozens of businesses - from digital agencies, SaaS startups, ecommerce operations and corporate firms - and helped them get better at testing and deploying releases to production.

Including improving QA processes, implementing release management strategies, managing test teams and mentoring individual testers.

We've also helped to solve specific problems - eliminating high priority issues that escaped to production every time a new mobile app version was released, implementing a strategy to install and manage dedicated testers across 6 different engineering teams for a global tech company and devising a system to track test results for a monthly release cycle are amongst consulting projects we've been involved in.

Testing and testers sometimes get a bad rap, we've spent a lot of time working with product teams, engineering teams and management to improve the perception of testing and drive real gains in how testing is incorporated and how testers collaborate with different teams.

Let's chat about how we could do the same for your organisation.
